The Dental Corner consists of a group of experienced dental professionals including Dental Prosthetists and Dental Technicians.
Dental technicians are the people responsible for manufacturing dental appliances such as Dentures, Mouthguards, Bleaching Trays, amongst other dental appliances such as Orthodontic Removable Expanders, Lingual Bonded Wires, Orthodontic
Retainers, Splints, Crown and bridgework to name a few.
A Dental Prosthetist is a Dental Clinician that began their education and career as a Dental Technician and went on to further study to become clinically trained for the direct fitment of Dentures, as well as impression recording for the fabrication of Mouthguards, and Bleaching Trays.
This symbioses of technical manufacturing knowledge with clinical expertise is what gives us a greater depth of insight and know-how to be able to produce best patient outcomes for our specific services.
As registered Dental Clinicians, our ongoing education is an integral part of our profession, and numerous hours are spent on an annual basis continuing
professional development which assists us to further our knowledge, stay a top of the continuous new technologies and methods coming to the forefront of the dental industry, and implement this into our clinic and laboratory.
